Blake’s litigation practice is focused primarily on commercial, construction, employment and real estate disputes. He has experience working on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and construction matters.

Since a very young age, Blake aspired to become a litigation lawyer. He is committed to delivering an exceptional client experience from the intake of the file up until the resolution of the matter. Blake graduated from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law with a specialization in “Dispute Resolution.” He is known for obtaining desirable settlements for his clients by implementing innovative and collaborative solutions. Where settlement is not a viable option, Blake has vigorously defended the rights of his clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court and the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Prior to pursuing a career in law, Blake used his Justice Studies and Psychology degrees to become a counsellor for vulnerable children and adults with severe behavioral issues. Most of these clients were emotionally volatile and physically dangerous to themselves and others. His experience working in these unpredictable environments now helps him properly manage stressful situations, think decisively, and efficiently rectify complex problems. These techniques are useful for both the courtroom and the office.

When Blake is not at the office, you can likely find him working out at the gym or biking around Ottawa. He also enjoys golfing, playing the guitar, snowboarding, boxing, and cooking enormous meals.
