Kara practises in construction and commercial litigation, with a practical and thoughtful approach to ensure her clients are effectively represented. Her practice is focused on construction contracts, disputes, delays, liens, and other claims. She also represents various stakeholders with respect to contract drafting and negotiations, procurement advice, multi-party construction arbitrations, adjudications, mediations, trials, and complex P3 agreement disputes and negotiations.

Her experience includes advising MUSH-sector owners, contractors, and suppliers regarding their construction and infrastructure agreements and disputes. Kara has appeared before the Small Claims Court, Provincial Offences Court, Superior Court of Justice, and Federal Court.
