Founding partner Larry Kelly is this year’s recipient of the County of Carleton Law Association’s Gordon F. Henderson Award. The award recognizes his significant contributions to the welfare of our community. Larry has been actively involved in community service and volunteer work throughout his career. His many accomplishments include serving as chair of the St Patrick’s Home capital campaign that culminated with the opening of a new 288-room facility. He also chaired the major gifts campaign for St Francis Xavier University, an institution he has supported in many ways for over four decades. In recent years, his support has extended outside of Canada as a founding director of the Serona Frontier Markets Fund which provides micro-financing to small entrepreneurs in developing countries. A true leader in our community, Larry actively supports dozens of other worthy causes every year and inspires others to follow through his actions.
